  I can say without a doubt that Southland Sod is the Best sod company we have ever dealt with. The order staff is cheery, the deliveries are always on-time and the sod is flawless. I only use Southland Sod for my jobs with our landscape company, Pacific Landscape Services, and all my customers at Baron Brothers Nursery. Keep up the good work!

  Southland sod from my experience has always been good in the areas of the customer service in my opinion. And I do like some of their sod, particularly their Tifgreen Hybrid Bermuda.
  
  My problem with them stems from them over marketing their "Marathon" varieties of sod like they are the cure-all of all your turf grass problems. "Marathon" is (dwarf) tall fescue, and tall fescue DOES NOT hold up well in Southern California from my experience, especially the inland valleys and canyon where it gets 105+ degrees in the Summer.
  
  I would much rather see them marketing stolons or spriggs of Bermuda which are used to establish high quality turfgrass, instead of a improper variety which is grown on a base of unevenly cut, heavy clay that screws up all the soil work you've worked your tail-end on, as is the case of their Marathon sod.
  
  Good company, I just avoid their Marathon varieties of sod like the plague.
